Disappointed
First let me say I like DR strings, and have used them for years. This is my first set of Neons however, and it will be my last. I have used coated DR strings before (Silver Stars) and really liked them.
I put these on my Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling 5HS and not only were they "cranky" sounding, but them were subdued sounding. Weak overall output and muffled tone. After about a month, the clankiness went away, but they still do not sound good.
Overall, they were a total waste of money. I bought them mainly because they were on sale, and that back-fired on me as they sound awful. No more Neons for me.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

- Love these Strings!
- I started using these strings a few years ago and I love them. They are all I use on my bases. That last long and sound as great as they look!
