Powerful, quality 18v saw

A lot of power for an 18v circular saw compared with the Bosch green circular saw, this is multiple times better. As it is bigger and heavier (and twice the price) it is a little more difficult to operate than the Bosch but still a quality saw with loads of oomph and is better at keeping a straight line. Sturdy tool, good value.

De Walt offer good quality mid range tools, this saw is excellent value for money. The motor brake system is particularly good, the saw is powerful, not too heavy, easy to adjust cutting depth & angle, comfortable to hold & nicely balanced. On the downside there is a lot of cheap, bent steel strip bracketry in the construction, but then it isnt a Festool!! Early days yet, lets see how it lasts!!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Dewalt circular saw

I was in two minds wether to buy a cheapie saw or invest in a cordless higher end product, so glad I chose the dewalt.

Great performance and quality

Surprisingly powerful. I managed to make 6 cuts of 62cm 38mm-thick chipboard worktop and still had 1 LED's-worth of a small 2.0Ah battery remaining. The blade has to be spinning freely on startup so sometimes it's tricky to stop and then start again when you're in the middle of a cut, so the lesson is...don't stop mid-cut! Highly recommended product. I can't comment on how better or worse they are than budget tools...this is the first battery circular saw I've tried. But experience with other DeWalt battery devices has taught me there's little point in skimping if you want reliability and high performance.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Great tool, easy to use and plenty of power with the right size battery.

Well made product.

Well made, versatile.

I have already used this five times, just that bit more versatile than the 165mm bladed skill saw. I would highly recommend it. Well made, good quality finish, easy to set up and use.

Great saw, best I've had.

Used this saw whilst constructing a new carport roof. It is a great piece of kit, so easy to use and powerful enough to cut any timber with ease. Highly recommend.
