Good balance of tone, cost & life.
Can't go too far wrong with standard phosphor bronze D'Addarios. Some coated strings may last longer but the extra cost isn't justified and the coating dulls the sound even when new. These were actually for someone else - I use EJ16s on my Martin D17M but the comments apply equally.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good, long lasting, well-balanced sound.
I've used a lot of different strings over the years and have settled on these as my favourite. Warm and bright (but not too bright), well balanced between the trebles and basses and feel nice under the fingers. Good value everyday strings.Vollständige Rezension lesen

My Preferred Acoustic Strings
I have found 11 gauge are easier on my hands now than the12's that I have played for over 45 years. I find 10's a little to light for both strumming and finger picking. I have tried other makes but these seem to suit me best for the price range.Vollständige Rezension lesen

D'addario Custom Light EJ26 Strings
I would recommend these strings in a heartbeat - warm & bright, longer lasting etc etc - been a player for over 40years & tried 'em all - wouldn't use any other brand, FANTASTIC!!!
