Cuts well, doesn't take up a lot of room and isn't cumbersome. Comes with 2 mats, a blade, a pen... most of what you need to get started with Cricut.
I honestly can't give it a 5-star rating... not because it doesn't deserve it, but because I am new to the Cricut world and don't know enough about it, so I don't feel I can give a 5-star until I am more familiar with the products. However, so far my new Cricut Maker seems to be a very good product, though I'm having just a little bit of trouble with calibration (again, possibly because of my limited knowledge). But it seems to cut well and do the job it's supposed to do. It has several nice features. I like the nice hydraulic smoothness when it opens, and the bottom opens automatically when you open the top cover. It has some nice storage room for your tools, too. It doesn't take up too much space and is lightweight enough to move around quite easily. I am enjoying learning how to use it. I am pleased with it so far! Vollständige Rezension lesen

Awesome cutting machine
The cricut is an awesome cutting machine. Its easy to learn and has all the software available to download that is needed to get started. Its basically "plug and play". There are lots of projects available free through Cricut or at a reasonable cost or you can make your own.There are many other sites where projects are available, some at a nominal fee and others free. AwesomeSAUCE: Have you everrrrrrrrrrrrr thought of something "Arts/Craftsy" you wanted to make but thought oooh bummers nah I'm good because of the amount of effort of finding all the right tools (Paper/Vinyl/Plastic, Glue, Yarn, Threat....etc). Yeah, that was me I waited planned for 3 years because added to that list is TIME. You can't rush your inner creative thinking or it will be a HOT MESS. Well, now I have mine and with the new Cricut Maker version (God is so Good) be patient and you will receive. I have a whole earring collection now with my Cricut. My goal was to wear a different pair every day. The holidays are now upon us, Halloween was so much fun with vinyl porch cut outs of crazy led lit pumpkin faces, giant black spiders made of felt and foam balls with pipe cleaner creepy crawly legs and that beautiful hex pattern web made out of yarn. Yes, that's my Cricut Maker, my creative imagination small snap shot for you. You can just imagine Thanksgiving and well, I will be blowing it out the box this year. Brand new in the box -- Very pleased! Got it up and working (including getting a special "TP Link" for my desktop becauseit doesn't have Bluetooth -- my laptop does -- gut I prefer my desktop "big girl" computer.) Good machine, Unnecessarily cumbersome software.
Machine does most of what it's designed to do. Design Space is nearly useless. I have been using graphic design software since BEFORE Windows, and I've used every popular program and many others, so I know what I'm talking about.
Design spaces uses almost none of the conventions of graphic software. And they change how they things work from time to time, so once I learn a process, the next update changes how it works.
Plus, even though Design Space is theoretically installed on my PC, it also had to link into the Cricut home page every time it comes up, a totally unnecessary waste of time. And often it needs to update AGAIN, wasting several more minutes and likely breaking something that worked before.
Not a fan.
That said, if you're a longtime Cricut user and don't mind paying for a of other people's cutesy designs, you'll find it more useful than a Silhouette Cameo 4.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Item was unexpectedly new in box with all new startup instructions included and factory sealed. It performs exactly as expected. Great deal for a brand new, factory sealed Cricut Maker.

Amazing machine - Cricut Maker
Easy to set up and get going. The initial tutorial is cool because you get to make a real intricate project but it's really easy to do with the Cricut software. Great features only cuts thin materials
This machine is of good quality, but it only cuts soft or very thin materials, although it is advertised as "10 times stronger". If you need to cut even 2mm chipboard and above, please get a CNC machine. I'm going to return it and buy a CNC machineVollständige Rezension lesen

I cant rave enough about how brilliant this machine is !! I loveee every bit of it ! Very easy to use awesome youtube videos to guide you !! Get one you wont regret it!
