Commando Director's Cut Film Arena® Steelbook
I am a huge fan of Commando, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Steelbooks, so this release is perfect!
This is actually one of my favorite Steelbooks I've ever purchased!
Contains the long-awaited Director's Cut of the Movie and does indeed have extended/deleted scenes added right back into the main feature.
And it's way better than I thought it'd be, sometimes when these scenes are added back in to the movie, the quality drops when the new scenes come in.
But this is fantastical high definition all the way through!
The extended scenes don't add much more to the plot but I really appreciated seeing them.
You get a little more exposition on Matrix's backstory with his daughter, her mother and his involvement with the Special Forces.
You also get a bit more violence and gore in the end scene when he attacks the island!
Very much love that I finally got to see this version of the movie I had always read about but could never find.
This Steelbook also includes full color photo lobby cards all housed in an awesome out-the-side slipcover, made of very sturdy cardboard.
I am so happy with this release.
It's going to cost at least double now than what it sold for at retail but if you're a huge Commando/Arnie/Steelbook fan, this is definitely one to own!

This is a must have film for Arnold fans. I hadn't watched it since the VHS days and I enjoyed it much more now then I did in the '80s.
I am a stickler for getting Blu-rays with the original poster/box art on the packaging. Sometimes, studios will do some dumb, digital mock-up of the movie poster. There are alternate versions of the Commando Blu-ray. This is exactly what I wanted. The price was great and as far as I can tell, the movie is out of print so, win/win!Vollständige Rezension lesen
