A must have for collectors of Hull Pottery and McCoy Pottery

These books update the prices from the late 90s to 2003 prices. Both books include ample high quality pictures of a lot of pieces, with good descriptions in the text. If you are looking for a good reference to gauge the inflation of value, each book gives you that, as long as you have the first edition also. The Collector's Encyclopedia of Hull Pottery

I love the pictures and the history of Hull pottery. Such beautiful pieces and some are very unusual. What I dislike about the book is the way the value of the pieces is in the back of the book, and you have to look up by page numer, item number, etc. Wish this info was available on the same page as the item itself. Knowledge on Pottery

I really enjoy looking and reading this book. It contains a great wealth of knowledge and very nice illustrated pictures.

Hull Pottery Book, Brenda Roberts

I did not like the prices and items listed in the back of the book rather than with the pieces. Makes it harder to find out the approximate value of a piece. The pictures were clear and showed many pieces. Overall a nice book. Just takes a little more work to find out the value of the piece is all. I am not sorry I sent for it.

I was looking for a resource with more up to date value listings as well as good photos to help verify authenticity of Hull items. This book provides all that. And, I especially appreciate

Excellent Book and Price

Book is excellent for referring to when I find an item on E-bay that I'm interested in buying. My Mother had a vase in the 1950's that I loved. After doing some research, I discovered it was made by Hull. I was able to purchase one like it one E-bay and love it.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
