Arguably the Best RPG of All Time
What's not to like about Chrono Trigger? Anyone with knowledge about this gem will sigh and get a gleam in their eye when asked about it. It is still popular today and still in demand. Recently it was released as an app for mobile phones. What is it about this game that continues to draw people in?
Pros:
- Excellent graphics for the console's ability
- A wonderful soundtrack that you can enjoy even if you aren't playing the game
- Multiple endings
- Unique and captivating character development
- Creative animation with battles and spellcasting
- Vast combinations of heroes and equipment
- A variety of interesting worlds to explore and re-explore
- Easy to play, difficult to master
- Turn based attacks allows you to strategically choose your options or be attacked immediately

My Favorite Game of All Time
I'm not a big JRPG fan, but Chrono Trigger is just too great. The graphics are pretty, the characters and songs are memorable, the battle mechanics are unique and fun, the story is cool, and there's a real sense of adventure that I thoroughly enjoy. The snes version is pricey, but in my opinion the game earns that price and never makes you feel like you've wasted your money or time. Worth every penny
I don't need to tell you how amazing a game Chrono Trigger is. What I will say is that based on the current market, it's worth it to pay upwards of $100 for a cartridge in good working condition - you might have a small chance of getting it for less if you're persistent enough at auctions, but in my view, it's worth it to go for the sure thing, even if it's a bit more expensive.Vollständige Rezension lesen

One Of The Best Video Games Of All Time
Between playing Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and PlayStation One/PlayStation X, I enjoy both versions of this/that great game. Chrono Trigger is amazing. If you don't already know about this game, you probably don't like the RPG genre at all.
Great gameplay, graphics (even today), music, story, and hundreds of hours of gameplay exploring the multiple endings utilizing the time travel theme, make this a must have RPG.
