Learning how to use a sharpener machine
Getting use to a electrical sharpener is much different compared to a manual one which I have used for 20 yrs. Doing it manual you can feel the drag on knife as to how sharp it is. With the electrical machine it took me more than a couple of times to get the feel of how to hold the knife against the guide to achieve a uniform sharpness across the whole length and at the correct angle. I like to keep my knives sharp for cooking but my old rotary (4 wheel) sharpener was not getting as fine an edge as I liked. I would have to use my sharpening steel to really get a good edge. I could never get my kitchen knives as sharp as I got my pocketknife with an oilstone. the New Chefs 120 has 6 wheels with the final set being a polishing wheel that puts a really nice edge on the knives. Sharpens great, well made and easy to use.
Sharpens dull knives quickly to paper cutting sharpness. Used on folding knives, kitchen knives and a serrated bread knife. Better than I expected. Works great. Quick and easy to use.

This Chefs Choice Knife Sharpener worked so well my wife wanted me to sharpen her butter knifes.

Better than new
I've always wanted one of these 3 stage sharpeners. The last one I had just had carbide blades that shaved off a little of the blade to sharpen it. This is quick and easy but the edge isn't super sharp and doesn't last. This item was like brand new but way cheaper. Perfect condition, packaging and even the manuals are all there. Very happy with this.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to

Great sharpene
Got this device, was leary of it removing too much metal from some of my more expensive knives. This was not the case, It is worth the money for the 3rd stage alone, just honing the edges of my knives. Best thing since the knife!
Everyone who uses a knife needs one of these. People will say, “no way! It grinds away your expensive knives and you have to buy new ones.” Over time, it’s true, but no matter the cost, if it’s dull it’s useless! If that’s a concern, buy cheap knives and keep them sharp!
