Great film, but plays loosely with the facts.

Astonishingly sad story (not as the blurb says "A true story" but 'based' on a true story.) However, it is an excellent film. Disturbing and not an easy watch. I've read several books on Stewart Gordon Northcott and the film does play loosely with the actual facts, but it does relate truthfully to the awful story of Christine Collins.
After Christine's only son goes missing, she reaches out to the LAPD to help her find him. They find a boy fitting her son's description five months later, but she insists that he is not her son. Angelina amazing in this role

Brilliantly acted by Angelina - very moving but also very disturbing and horrific to see what this poor Mother has to go through.

Disturbing true story.

Had to buy this as saw part of it on TV, unfortunately the channel closed before the end of the film! Glad I bought it as it is a really fascinating story.

Excellent film

Engaging story line based on a true story.
Great cast, Excellent performances by all.
So heartbreaking that the child was never found and so many weren't identified.

A very sad film

I respect the story and the actors but it's just such an average movie that tries hard to be dramatic and tense, but fails miserably and kind of makes you stare at the wall for more entertainment.

A film that is compelling to watch.

The truth concerning very bad practice by the American authorities was unforgiveable. The film portrayed this very well and the cast were so well cast for their parts in this film.
