Action Fest! Never a dull moment.

If you want to watch a movie that simply zips along at a fast pace with all out action then this is is for you. The script is very well written and location is excellent. Underrated action film - highly reccommended!

Truly excellent action film, gripping throughout. There is little historical information on the legendary loss of the Roman Ninth Legion, or even how the Picts lived, so the film had plenty of artistic licence to work with. It feels convincing as a 'what if', and it captures what I would imagine the 'Zeitgeist' of the period to be, utter and unrelenting brutality with Roman soldiers imbued with absolute self-belief.
