Car plan exhaust bandage

Did the job of repairing my 1981 Volvo car exhaust box in no time , only thing was the wire supplied to secure the bandage was too short to go round the box, so had to lengthen wire to fit.

A great quick repair, probably short term only though, easy to use but can be a bit sticky an messy, make sure the exhaust is as hot as possible for it to stick well.

Very good product

It is sorted out a big hole due to corrosion in the silencer. I used 2 of them. it would be better if the wire a little bit longer.

Decent exhaust bandage, could be cheaper

About 1m long, 35mm wide and 1mm thick. Slightly sticky especially if warmed. Can be folded lengthwise.

Not suitable for various larger than 5mm.

Bubbles and melts when first heater.

dost stock on my bike exhaust ,its too messy ,when getting hot seems like bubbling ,i though should be hard ,to be honest waste of time ,sorry

Micks repair

Never used this type of bandage before, it was used on a large split on the exhaust pipe right on a corner. I used two bandages to make sure and it has worked ok.
