Incomplete/inaccurate Advertising

Before I placed my order, I emailed the vendor and asked if the product could be used ok if the roof rack did not have cross members. I was told that it would - that the responder had one he used successfully without roof rack cross members.

I tried to use it but without being able to attach the straps to cross members I felt it would be unsafe. Or I would have had to pack it so full, the weight would be too much on the sunroof structure. I was afraid the loaded bag would move back and forth on the roof top and could even act like a wing and lift. The only way I thought it could be safely used would be to use other retaining/restraining straps.

On the morning we were to leave on our trip I decided not to use it and piled luggage etc inside the car. I purchased the bag only because we were taking our dogs (large) with us. They still went on the trip but their legroom was greatly reduced.

Very well pleased

Since my purchase I've used this carrier bag twice. Both times zero problems/difficulties. Straps kept everything in place with no sliding around or shifting. First time I loaded it, it was a partial fill, everything arrived as when I loaded it and it traveled very well. The second time it was full and again traveled great. You could easily forget your carrying anything up on your roof. I've read were wind noise was a problem, I noticed no increase in wind noise at all. It fits beautifully in the cargo rack and secures with eight straps and easy to use buckles. Both days were sunny so I can't speak about rain or wet conditions yet. It freed up much room inside my car which is why I purchased it to begin with. When not in use, it folds nicely into a fairly small bundle and I carry it in the back of my Subaru Outback, thus it is always with me if it should be needed. It has no kind of security, so if you want to pack it and keep it loaded when you leave your vehicle, one should keep that in mind.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Cargo carrier

Can't give a review. We still have not received the item. Found one locally. We were going on vacation and were very disappointed in not receiving the carrier. The tracking # says it had been shipped from a location in Little Rock, AR. Nothing after that. Please refund the price of the carrier. Thank you.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Pretty good

Definitely a two man job securing it to rooftop... because gotta load up prior to putting it on the roof unlike the rigid ones

The bag does it's job the only problem I have is I thought I was getting a black one not a digital camouflage one
