Great Value for money, Canon lens EF50 mm F/1.4 takes great photographs

I wanted to a upgrade to a better lens, I did of lot of research, knowing that some lens can be very expensive. I decided on Canon EF 50mm F1/4 an excellent lens, I am over the moon, very pleased with my purchase.

ist zwar etwas Teuer wird aber mit Qualität wieder wett gemacht

Great lens!

It’s a great lens, sharp and fast.
Autofocus is really fast and accurate although sometimes it is not working. But as I’m new in photos maybe I do something wrong..?

Essential prime lens and good value

Good for range of situations from landscape, portrait (chopped sensor) and product. works really well with extension ring for macro.

Devastating

I am very upset by your service. I am sure I would love this item, however, after many emails back and forth trying to get to the bottom of this case, i am yet to receive it. I am a 17 year old girl and work hard for £3.68 an hour, saving up to buy a product as expensive as this was a big thing for me, and at the time, very exciting thinking i was going to be in possession of such a product. I wish to peruse a career in photography when i leave school next year and this lens will be very important to me. I will not leave this be until i either receive my product or am fully refunded. Great lens!

I'm very happy with this bought. I got everything i expected, mainly for 3 things : 1 - super light shooting in indoors, with no need of flash. All does f/1.4 bringing lots of light to your pictures.<br>2 - Very nice and smooth dof, bringing to focus subject and washing out everything else.
3 - 50mm for shooting portraits, with nice fov and no distortion on subject.

As expected minuses are mainly two: 1 no zoom, you have to run around to get something in picture. 2 50mm limited view angle, for example in small room you hardly get subject in to frame.

Es ist vielseitig einsetz bar

Dieses Opjektiv fehlte mir noch. Es hat eine hohe Lichtstärke
und eine sehr gute Abbildungsqualität sowie ein schnelles Fokusierungssystem.

Hält, was es verspricht

Ich habe das Objektiv für meine Canon EOS M50 gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden damit.

The design really shows the age now - much better alternatives are available.

2023 REVISION: there are now much better alternatives available for EF and RF mount Canon cameras. The lens shows its age and sharpness is not up to the task particularly on higher resolution cameras. Focus motors are known to fail.
So the recommendation is to look elsewhere including excellent 3rd party offers, or on the budget end Canon's own 50mm f/1.8 STM in either EF or RF mount depending on camera.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Es ist gar nicht so schlecht ...Preis Leistung hat mich überzeugt

Ich habe das Canon EF 50mm 1.8 mark i gegen das 50 mm 1.4 eingetauscht. Es ist vom Focus her schnell. Das Mark 1ser hat noch einen langsamen Stellmotor (22 Jahre alt).
Das 1.4 er hat kein Back oder Front Focus. Ich benutze es an einer FF (Full Frame) Kamera.
