Canon PIXMA iP8720 Wireless Inkjet Photo Printer

First day use, so far happy.

I like it so far using in the first day. Good and fast printing and wifi communication was fast as well. I bought it for larger tshirt transfers and quality prints. So far it looks crisp. Needed an alignment on first start up. Not too uncommon or unexpected. Set up was very user friendly and pretty fast. Like that it doesn't require a screen display on the printer since my printer is located in the next room and it works well between one wall and about 25 ft distance. Wifi so far seems to work better then bluetooth and all the printer screen displays are on a quick access buttons on my home screen using windows 10. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Easy & prints on heavy card stock easily!

This printer is awesome! I needed something that could print on heavy card stock paper and be able to accommodate 12 x 12 paper. The set up was extremely easy and fast, my first try printing on heavy card stock (110lbs I think) was successful, and the color and quality of the print was superb. Excellent Graphics Printer

Easy to set up right out of the box. Ink cartridges were inserted very easily. The quick set up chart was very helpful. The printing was very crisp and the color in the pictures are great. You will need to place the printer within 10 feet of the router to set up the wireless feature, I kept trying from about 40 feet away and it couldn't find the signal, but when I put it next to the router it found it in seconds. I then placed it back in my office and it works fine. You only need to put it close during the setup. Little hard to set up, but it's pretty good

Pretty hard to set up... don't use the CD that comes in box to set up... go on the canon website to set up using the updated version of drivers... also know that this is just a printer, not a scanner or copier. Great inexpensive printer!

I love how easy this printer was to set up. I use the USB interface to avoid wifi issues so I can’t comment not he wireless features.

Excellent print resolution - poor print alignment...

While the resolution of the printer is top-quality, the precision of the printing position on the disk tray is poor.
The resolution for pictures is great for the speed at which it prints and the photos come out brilliant. The Better The Paper - The Better the Photo!
I purchased this to print on the back of my printable disks but after a half a dozen tries, each has been off center by anywhere from 3/16th to 1/8th of an inch. Most of the problem seems to be in a sloppy fitting tray with no way that I've found to adjust the printer alignment with the disk.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Awesome quality for the price

I just got the printer in the mail today. For the price, I think this was amazing considering it was "open box" condition. It looked new. The printer was bigger than I thought but it was surprisingly not too heavy. I followed all the instructions on the manual and set up everything but the print head configuration didn't seem to work the way the manual said it would. I decided to fix it myself by just turning off and on the printer and clicked the print button until it actually worked! I'm not a tech person when it comes to printers but this was overall easy to install (about 20ish minutes total). Great color and black and white prints, and isn't that why you wanted a printer?

The Canon iP8720 printer prints high quality prints. I wanted to go with the Canon Pro100 printer, but chose this cheaper alternative instead. It can print up to 13X19 A3+ prints, and even does them borderless. The printer has six color ink tanks: pigment black, photo black, gray, yellow, cyan, and magenta. The 250/251 ink tanks are cheaper than many others, and you can get great deals on ink if you use the aftermarket inks. I have been using aftermarket inks for over a year with absolutely no problems.
This printer prints amazing color prints and some of the best black and white prints I have ever seen. If you need Mercedes prints, but you are on a Volkswagen budget, this is the printer you need. While this printer does not scan or send faxes, it does what a printer should do best, and that is print beautiful pictures. I have owned many printers over the years, and this is my favorite printer so far. And it is compatible with Windows 10. Incredble printer. Everything about this printer is so much better than the printers I have bought in the past that were not wide format. The mechanism for setting the paper width is smooth and easy to operate, the paper tray pulls out seamlessly to a good distance and supports the paper completely. Ease of use and setup.
