Light weight, well made and versatile.
Good all-round short zoom lens for all vintage Canon A series cameras. Saves me carrying three lenses.
There are two "better" versions of this lens which are better in low light but this one works well for me.

If you are looking for a true Macro lens this may not be the one for you
I bought this lens because I was looking for an entry level to Macro photography. I chose this lens because of the extremely low price. The lens is very compact and light. The build quality is not as good as some of the older Canon lenses but adequate for use. The term Macro is applied to a number of lenses but if you are looking for a lens that will produce 1-1 life-size with the upgraded optics to capture fine detail then this is not the lens for you. I would not buy any lens of this type again. It would be helpful if people could agree what specification the term Macro referred to. If in doubt ask if the lens will reproduce 1-1 unaided, if the answer is no then you should be able to access its capabilities and decide if it is what you are looking for.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Very happy with purchase!
More flexibility than with the fixed 50mm lens at the cost of a 1.8 f/stop. A good lens to have in your collection as it is useful in many situations along with being relatively cheap to obtain. Although I still need to test out the macro capabilities of this lens.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

My original lens appeared full of fungi so I bought this one to replace it.
Not the fastest lense out there but quite useful if you don't want to carry around more than one lense, ultra-compact size & weight.
Good for macro photography as well.

Excellent lens, great value for the money.
Bought this lens plus an adapter to fit my Panasonic G1.
Still getting used to it but I think is a great lens. Lightweight and the Macro and zoom easy to use.

C'est un produit ARGENTIQUE (FD), il faut utiliser un adaptateur (Prix variant entre 30 et 50€) si vous comptez l'utiliser avec un reflex récent.

Great lens when you want to capture close images and portraita. Great in low light and adds a lovely grain to the image. Would recommend
