Canon EF-S 10-18 mm F/4.5-5.6 IS STM Objektiv

Great lens, just a little hard to Manual Focus

I bought this lens for multiple reasons, I like city scapes, lakes, mountains etc. and especially for astro-photography shots where I could get a longer exposure and wider field. The problem for me is that, there are NO markings on the focus ring! It is more of an electronic focus inside the lens so, it's VERY difficult to find an "infinity" spot to get milky way shots. The focus ring doesn't have a beginning and an end, it spins around and around with the focus area "somewhere" in the middle. It works well in automatic focus and when it finds the "sweet spot", you can turn the ring and will not effect the focus. Other than that, which is sort of a big deal for me, I do like the lens, at 10mm it gets the whole room and is a nice wide and sharp image for the money.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Close up and sharp

I have not used the lense yet for the purposes I purchased it for but I have captured a stunning sunrise, like never before. When I photographe a car/truck for some one I don't have to back up to the next county to get all of the vehicle in the picture. I would recommend this lense to anyone that sells large items and need a great close up of the item. Great Lens, great price

I had been considering this lens for quite a while. I do a lot of class reunion pictures and some time I have to work in close quarters to get the group shots everyone wants. I had been using a 28-200 mm Tamron lens which did not give the width I need in these kinds of situations. The Canon 10-18 mm lens is perfect for me. every lens kit needs one

This is an amazingly sharp lens. it allows for a wonderful wide angle view both indoors and out. It is especially helpful when trying to take pictures of rooms in houses...or of wide open spaces. i use it with a Canon 70d crop sensor and it allows me to see much more than would otherwise be possible. Full open it tends to get a bit distorted around the edges, especially in small spaces, but that is to be expected with this lens.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Top-Leistung zu einem guten Preis

Ich verwende das Objektiv an meiner Canon EOS 7D Mark II und war überrascht über die Leistung des Objektives. Schneller Autofokus, guter Stabilizer für längere Belichtungszeiten aus der Hand, sehr scharfe Bilder und das auch im Nahbereich (bis 25 cm). Top-Leistung auch bei der Verwendung als Video-Objektiv. Der Autofokus läuft super und leise mit (STM-Objektiv). Habe keine negativen Anhaltspunkte feststellen können. Absolut ok - Preis-Leistung sensationell

Nettes Objektiv für draußen bei gutem Licht. Sehr handlich, leicht und unkompliziert.
Hab das jetzt bei viel Sonne und bei schlechtem Wetter ausprobiert; hier sehr gute Durchzeichnung, kaum Schärfeabfall an den Rändern. Klar, bei 10mm sind gewisse Randverzerrungen zu erwarten, vor allem bei diesem kampfpreis. Aber: für den durchaus etwas ambitionierten Hobbyfotografen ein schönes Objektiv für Landschaften, hier uneingeschränkt tauglich. Farben wunderbar, so wie's sein soll. Ich verwende das mit einer EOS 750d, die stellt hier einwandfrei scharf. Den Autofokus hört man kaum, Gottseidank sieht man's ;-))
Ich denke man kann es empfehlen; jedenfalls das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut; für dieses Geld gibt's nichts vergleichbares.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Looks like an Fish eye lens.

This Lens are for those who are looking up a Wide angle lenses.

It´s awesome for close pictures, perfect for video shooting, it´s great for indoors and outdoors.

The price is a bit too high, but I guess lenses are very expensive on a overall point of view.

For my purpuses that are major filming, it is very handy.

Great lens for selfies

I love how wide this lens is. Now I can vlog on my DSLR without the camera being right in my face. The cannon glass at this price is a great value.

Canon does it right
