Excellent scanner!

So far I have tested this device by scanning a photo and then by scanning a negative. The result in both instances was beautiful. The device will enable me to efficiently digitize my voluminous collection of photos and negatives. canon 9000f mark ii-fast

Pretty fast- an 8x10 black and white -600 dpi about 16 seconds (scan and save). I used it with Vuescan don't know if the Canon drivers work with current operating systems.

Haven't had a chance to use it to the extent that it was purchased for but seems to be a good tool for digitizing 35mm slides. A pain to get operational with windows 10 drivers & upgrades.

Resolution and software appears subpar

I scanned a 35mm negative and largest size jpg file it produces is around 2.5MB. I was expecting at the least about 4-5. Not sure that’s impressive at all.

Only works with old comouters!
i had to buy an old mac mini to run this scanner...
if you have the money is best to buy something new... this scanner is too old!
