What a great collection of tracks
I'd always associated Candi Staton with "Young hearts run free" - good but not memorable, so I was delighted to buy this CD which features some of her earlier work.
I'd heard and liked "Too hurt to cry" before but the other 25 tracks were new to me. There's great versions of Tammy Wynette's "Stand by your man" & Elvis Presley's "In the ghetto", plus some really soulful songs. I love it. Vollständige Rezension lesen...
