Some funny, some not...
If you are a big Sedaris fan, you will probably like this book. my 40 yer old son thought it was hilarious and recommended it. The author's humor, while intermittently funny, is a bit snarky for me.

I love David Sedaris books. His best may be behind him. But i will always buy anything he writes.

It's typical David Sedaris with stories you can relate to; if you like his take on the norm, you'll love this collection.

Fast read...left me laughing & crying!
If you're a fan of David Sedaris, this book will not disappoint! It is a bit darker than his previous tomes, but it strikes home for this widowed NC gal who has dealt with family situations as parents get older, and more persona carel/involvement is required. I found myself laughing out loud in various places in the book, and then crying just moments later. Each chapter is almost like a stand-alone essay, and the book can be picked up and re-read just about anywhere. I first read the book from the library, and decided it was definitely worth buying.
