Ben Harper from 1999 starting to shine

This is an incredibly good cd. I own all of Ben's material, even the studio and live releases w/ "The Blind Boy's of Alabama" and this (Burn to Shine) is one of my favorite of all his music. It contains one of (in my humble opinion) the best songs he's ever written "Steal My Kisses" but really the entire cd flows as well as that song and there isn't a single bad song on here. If your a fan of Ben's music or you just like the mixed-genre, Indie-style then you'll love the rock, reggae, folk influences that are brilliantly showcased on this 1999 release.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

An eclectic mixture of music. I have all the Ben Harper CDs, and this is by far the best one he has ever recorded. Its Ben Harper for god sake!!
