Managed to get to Disc 5 and never did find the plot - if there is one?
This may have been an accclaimed television series - and said to have launched the careers of some great actors - but this story is boring!! Was not able to finish watching it.

TheMini series to end all Mini series
This is a book that was in our house as long a I can remember. I have read it many times.The first time I watched this on PBS was maybe the first time I began to get it. It’s a truly brilliant example of bringing a book to the screen.

Brideshead Revisited - one of the first PBS classics

Great story and great actors.
The story is engaging and it is difficult to believe people lived like this. The house is in astounding condition. The characters are complex and nuanced, One of my top 5 BBC shows.

This 1981 Brideshead series is very faithful to the book and one of the finest TV miniseries ever made.
