Jim Hamm's Bows & Arrows Of The Native Americans, is a must read.

This is a very well written book and would be a great book for any bowyer, It is very well detailed with a lot of pictures to add to the details, it covers types of bows from East to West, and all stages of construction very well. It also covers arrow making and making quivers and bow cases. If you are looking for a simple, concise, and easy-to-read publication to learn to make stone age bows, this book will over and above supply you with the information to do so. Jim Hamm gives you enough information to journey from know-nothing beginner to early advanced stages for bow making.
