Bose F1 812 Powered Line Array - WOW!

I am a performer who primarily sings and plays accompanying keys to backing tracks. I have been using the Bose L1 Model II with B2 Bass and T1 Tonematch. The L1 systems performs very well and I like the fact that it is positioned behind me when I perform thus it is a great monitor as well. When I play outdoor venues however; the L1 system alone can get a bit washed out, so I did a bit of research on the F1 812 and decided to purchase it. I have hooked it up directly from an output on the T1. I have it placed on a speaker stand as "front of house" I had very high expectations of this setup and I must say that the addition of the F1 812 exceeds my expectations and then some. Powerful and melodic

Typically outstanding Bose sound and build quality. Powerful, too, with superb bass. Two negatives: the top speaker falls short of optimal listening height when perched on the included frame that is part of the sub. And, these units are both heavy: mounting the top speaker onto the frame -- and especially unmounting it later -- will almost certainly be taxing if you are of a certain age or not very strong or tall, not only because of the weight but because not every person will find the handles on the top speaker to be ideally placed for this purpose. I did not try mounting the top speaker on a pole, which might be easier, especially if it's a crank-up or hydraulically assisted pole. Awesome sound!

I was skeptical about these until a bought a pair. The sound reproduction is amazing! You can crank these speakers with no discernable distortion. They throw sound a long ways, and over a wide area. The adjustable array feature is just another bonus. Lightweight and powerful - these speakers are about 50lbs each and are replacing some 5' tall 120lb monsters - and they sound better! Truth

Not that i'm too lazy to write the words, but all the glowing reviews out there are well deserved. Anything i say would be redundant. These speakers are exceptional. You'll get what you pay for.
