Black Thorne: Genius of the 16-bit

Black Thorne is essentially a precursor to many modern game motifs and encompasses a rare quality of attention to detail a lot of Snes games were close to achieving but didn't quite reach to this extent. Duck n' Cover tactics with easy item management and one of the best control schemes for a side-scrolling shooter. This game harkens to Flashback, one of the finest 16bit era games, on many levels. Great game. Rare game. There are probably like ten of these left in such good condition.

This is one of the most rare games of all time. For the SNES system, the game reminds people at first very much if the hit game Prince of Persia where you unfortunately don't wield a shotgun to blow away monsters. Great game!

It's been 20 years since I've played this game. I recently played it and it's just as fun playing it now as it was then. It's one of the best shoot em up games ever made!!!
