Spike Lee's best feature since DO THE RIGHT THING

A timely indictment of how little has changed about American racism since the 1970s--since the 1960s--since Reconstruction, actually. Every single performer is excellent. The script is outstanding. The score is first-rate (particularly at the end). Spike's direction is true and uncompromising through-out. The ending that takes you through the horrors of Charlottesville and the murder of Heather Heyer, It leaves me in outrage and tears every time I watch it. I've personally worked on 7 of Spike's films, and this is one of his best. It should have won director and picture. Adam Driver is outstanding. Upshot: we need to ban the KKK and its like-minded organizations. They are the domestic terrorists the FBI keeps warning us about, and David Duke may seem like a fool on the news, but his people kill innocent Americans, and they need to be stopped.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Spike Lee has been a film producer/ director whose career & art I've followed over the years. Spike Lee as Director of Klansman & his collaboration with Jordan Peele do not disappoint.

Great Movie

Spike Lee has done it again.

Saw it in the theater win it first premiered, but watching it again was truly a good thing because you always see things u missed and also the laughs and comedic moments .

Spike's Second Best

Thought it quite good and very entertaining,a phenomenal story Sorry Spike, I did not see it as Best Picture material; a nominee, yes. The winner,no.
