Enjoyed it much

I had never seen the opera and it is the only available version on DVD that I have found (so the 5 stars) so I have no other performances to compare it to. I wanted to see it mostly due to the exquisite duet "le fond du temple saint" that has always been a favorite. I'd been told it was a little performed opera and not to expect much from it but found that the music throughout to be among the most beautiful I've experienced in any opera so I was very pleasantly surprised.
