Cable shifter cable

Nice quality cable. Appears to be a good replacement in the old housings. Just make sure to oil it heavily so that it feeds into the tubes.

Thin wire strands can break easily.

The wire-strands were too weak, so only a little repeat effort at attaching to the derailleur caused it to fray. I have a teflon-coated on, (Clark), on another bike, which had no such problem.
