Replaced an older Basement Watchdog Special unit 1 had for 10 years that still worked. However, this new model allows use of a new WiFi connect module (separate purchase). It also allows use of a Maintenance Free Battery. I like the new system, the WiFi connect (needs the module) and especially the maintenance free battery which I also purchased serarately. It’s a great backup pump. Pumps the sump pit out fast. Easy set up.
