Works great, easy install
Works great so far, absolutely no issues. The unit itself is easy to install, all the wiring is a painful install. The auto on / auto off based on speaker input works great, turns on quick and turns off relatively quick. The only reason I'd suggest another product is if you want a line out converter combined with an amp, because apparently Alpine makes a amplifier that has a line out converter integrated. Awesome product
This little gadget is amazing!!! I have put a few sub systems in different vehicles in the past and never used or heard of these things. I just installed it in my 2014 ram with factory alpine system and used the factory 8” woofer wires as my input source and had to run a power and ground wire to it and that’s all. It creates its own remote wire to turn my subwoofer amp on and it also creates the L&R Chanel rca inputs for the amp. Perfect for upgrade to factory audio system
Purchased to add a subwoofer to my factory audio system (2014 Cadillac ATS). It was easy to have installed and it gets the job done. If you are looking to keep your factory stereo or you have a newer car that doesn't allow for aftermarket stereo, then I highly suggest you get one of these. Inexpensive way to upgrade sound system. Nice straps
The eyelet tabs that came with my Tyvek groundcloth were not long enough, so I purchased these.
They did the trick nicely;just the right length and easily applied.

Versatile Converter..
AWSOME item, allowed me to use my Factory radio, Hook up to an Amplifier.. Did not need to run a Remote wire & Allowed signal to have a Subwoofer since the Factory radio had NO RCA'S..

Best inline converter I've ever used!
This is the first time I've opted for a controller, not just a converter, for my add on amp and sub. If you're considering one, get it. It's worth the extra money for the power you get.
I've installed this exact setup in another vehicle, but with the passive converter. This install is much louder and clearer. Distortion is a killer in car audio, and this device gets you max signal, with zero distortion. Well worth the money i spent on the LC2i!! Problem solved
This will solve all of you problems dealing with your factory radio ... love the amplified signal..I used less volume had to turn the amp down.
