Very nice but expensive and fussy to set up
I bought this to replace a cheaper auto-lifter that I felt handled ny $1400 cartridge too roughly. This Audio-Technica lifter raises the arm very gently at the end of the record.
It is pretty easy to set up, and attaches with strong 2-sided tape discs. It is pretty intuitive, if a little fussy, to set up - a good thing because the instructions are not very useful.
It’s also a tad fussy to use - to reset it one needs to press the delicate-seeming lifter arm in just the right place, without inadvertently rotating it.
It is nice looking: small, unobtrusive, looks like the fine instrument that it is.
Lastly, it ain’t cheap! I think I paid over $120 for it, which would be outrageous - but it’s in line with the high (to me) price of my cartridge.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

I love this tonearm lifter!
I love this tonearm lifter. It is extremely well made and works effectively. While it's a bit hard to tell from pictures, it actually quite compact and so I had no problem mounting it within the limited space that I had available. Nice quality product - Buyer Beware! Make sure you have ample space for the install BEFORE ORDERING.
Firstly, this will not work for all TTs. If you do not have a lot of space between the platter and the base of the tonearm, this likely will not be compatible with your unit. In my case, when set up to work properly, the trigger arm actually touched the record/platter.
Well made product, high quality materials and gentle to the turntable components. IF YOU ARE ORDERING FROM JAPAN, be sure that you have at LEAST a full inch of flat space to install the lifter between our platter and tonearm base. IF, like me, you find yourself in the unfortunate situation where it is not compatible and you request return... well, expect to pay more than half the price of the item to ship it back. The item works great in my MOFI Studio Deck.
It is not difficult to set up. It does take some patience and trial to find the prefect spot.
After that it works fantastic.

Very sensitive trigger arm. Easily installed on Technics SL-1200MK5 but needs a pedestal for Rega RP8.
