Accurail Car offers more "Bang for your Buck"
These cars have been around in HO scale for while...but they need a good "refresher". They are nice model of an actual B & O Prototype 70 ton AAR open hopper. The tooling is very well done, and the cars details nicely stand out once they are painted. End bracing, air piping to the brake system included; along with fine scale stirrups that are included on a one piece bolster/coupler-pocket/stirrups part. Overall, the car goes together in around 25 minutes...and also has provisions for scale-width coupler pockets to be installed. I use Sergent Engineering couplers...so this is an added plus...as I can super detail the car before it goes to the paint shop.

Saves time and trouble
These terminal joiners are convenient and seem to be of quality. If you don't like soldering, or want to save time, this is the way to go.
