Army of 2 !!!! a surprise indeed.

Didn't expect the game to be this good but it surely surprised me. I recommend it for strong 2 player action either in co-op or versus modes.
It was fun to play with and the weapons purchase and upgrading system was fantastic.
The missions are a bit weird in the aspect that you get so much damage but just cover up in a corner and voila you are cured. But lets face it the team is a bad-a** merc team with super armors :)

Good, complex controls

Great game, great graphics and storyline. Takes about 6-8 hours to finish. Complicated controller interface however, but I suppose once you get used to it it is fine.

Used Army of two

I bought Army of two three weeks ago, I didn't buy it new, because some web pages gives to this game a bad score. I give it an 8 (1-10). The game story is short, online mode is good but exists another games better. Army of two has great graphics. playing online in co-op mode is great, is the best part of the game. The co-op elements and focus on two soldiers is well done in Army of Two. However, the main campaign feels a bit on the shallow side, and the AI is a bit spotty.

Graphics: 9.0<br>Army of Two has some fantastically rendered character models with some great details, as well as nice environments and special effects.

Sound: 8.5
The soundtrack is pretty good, and the sound effects are spot on. The voice acting is impressive.

Difficulty: Medium

Concept: 8.0
Army of Two does some great things for the co-op action genre, but has a few problems keeping it from being a true classic.

Multiplayer: 8.5
This is where Army of Two really shines, with the cooperative element playable through split screen or online, and a few different competitive modes across four different maps.

Overall: 8.0

Army of Two is a great game for 2 players

AoT - nice game

Army of Two is a good game ,but it's short and has some gameplay glitches. YOu can pass this game in about 6-10 hours (depending on how you play).

Pros: Has a big arsenal of guns and upgrades. Two man game - nothing new ,but fun if you don't like doing it alone. Online mode.

Army of Two is the game for you!

Army of Two is a 3rd person shooter that sends you into the fight with a battle buddy. A blend of a squad-based shooter and man versus the world, Army of Two allows you to give your partner orders to provide different tactical support. The innovative 'Aggro' system also allows for players to enter 'Overkill' where one person gains double the damage and the other becomes an invisible killing machine. Beating the game takes several hours but multiple unlocks add to the replay value. There are also several different game modes both for splitscreen and online play. Great game.

I bought this game to play online with a friend who recently got a ps3, but surprise, servers were down since August '11, overall the game is good, I have not finished it but the campaign has kept me busy for some hours. I loved the split screen for the missions, kept my girl busy for some time.

Short and sweet...

This game is okay if you look at what it is trying to do. Play with a friend, an AI partner is not the same. It has what they call an "aggro meter" which basically means "you shoot more and the bad guys look at you while I sneak up behind"(some enemies can only be killed from behind or grenades). I rented this game and played through in less than one night, no real boss fights...and like most games an ending suggesting a sequel.

The online play doesn't stand up to Call of Duty 4 or even Halo 3.

Definetly worth checking out from you local rental store but it seems like to short of an experience to spend $60 on with all the games with more staying power.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Army or Two?

I have been waiting for a co-op game to come out and when army of two showed up I was thrilled. Although the game is not ideal (alot of buttons to memorize and the shooting set up is not the best) the game brings a lot of fun and excitment. Now if the game looked and was handled the way Call of Duty 4 was then it would be my favorite...but until then COD4 is still my number one game.Deffinatly buy that game instead of this one...Vollständige Rezension lesen...
