iPhone 3G 8Gb
What can you say about an iPhone?there's a reason why so many people want one,they're fantastically easy to use,and you can do so much with them. In fact I'm writing this review from one! The 3G is an older model,so now it's obviously getting on a bit compared to the latest models out there. With the latest firmware versions it struggles to cope at times,and there is a small amount of lag. How much of an issue this is depends on what kind of user you are though. If like me,you like the latest gadgets and know your stuff it won't be good enough. However for others it'll do just fine. I bought one as a gift for my mum,and she's more than happy with it.
Features wise the 2mp camera is adequate for someone who never really uses a mobile phone to take photos. For the occasional daylight snap it'll suffice. The apps ate the biggest draw for the iPhone ecosystem though. There are just so many useful apps that are out there,and gaming wise the iPhone OS is way ahead of the opposition.
If you want an iPhone and aren't too fussed about features then the 3G is a decent starting point into the smartphone experience. If you're a power user or geek then it won't quite be up to scratch and I'd suggest going for a more recent model.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Life pre Iphone? What life?
I can't remember any details of my phone purchasing life pre iphone.
Joking! It's amazing. I'm in love with the iphone. So much so that I would never have any other phone now, they'd just be a disappointment. It's an incredibly intuitive phone, functionality is broad yet simple & effective, the only negative about this model is you cant send pictures via bluetooth, but hey you can email them so easily it's really no biggie.
As my purchase is second hand i expected the battery to not necesserily be amazing, i have to charge it every night, and i can imagine if you made alot of calls you'd want to invest in the newer versions for better battery time. I'm not a heavy user so it's ok for me.
The actual product itself is in exceptional condition, no scratches,screen is perfect. Getting to grips with the whole app thing and finding some of them pretty usefull.
All in all very pleased with the purchase, especially as I have now customised it with a particually hideous bejewelled case from hong kong - there's no accounting for taste ;)Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Brilliant product, wouldn't have any other make again!
I bought this phone as my old one would not work any more my husband had an iPod touch and suggested I get one to see how I got on with it, I have to say I would not have any other phone, it's easy to use, can download anything you want in minutes, and has a really good camera on it. Which in comparison to my old smartphone where I had to insert a disc into my laptop just to get the pictures downloaded and was a bit of a faf, so this one is a godsend. I couldn't say anything bad about it except the battery life is short between charges but that is the nature of this type of phone, I just got into the habit of charging my phone every other night.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Check vibrate!!!!!
I bought this phone because I had wanted a smartphone for a while and my old rubbish phone got ran over unfortunately so this was a perfect opportunity.
The listing told me about some cosmetic and slight screen damage and I was willing to deal with this and I have been able to since ive had it.
I like everything about it apart from the fact that the vibrate function doesnt work and this WASN'T mentioned in the listing at all. Unfortunately I had already given my positive feedback to the seller before I found this problem. It is a quite a lot of hassle because I have to keep checking my phone when it is on silent instead of being able to feel it in my pocket etc.
I looked on quite a few different websites/forums and discovered that this was quite a common problem with the earlier models of the iphone.
I would buy this type of product again although when I received it I would check every single little bit of functionality before I gave my feedback, afterall, I am actually a software tester lol.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
My daughter was delighted with her new phone!
Phone arrived promptly, boxed with a collection of accessories. It was easy to set up and use and we had no trouble transferring my daughter's contacts from her old phone. It obviously doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that later iPhones have but so far it seems to be an excellent introduction to the iPhone family for her ... and considerdably cheaper than later models.

Loved the I phone as I can play music too on dock station
Good phone just slow for Internet and can't pick up 3G when away from my wireless at home. But easy to use and lots of features too, prob like to have a iPhone 4 though now if I'm honest.

I bought this phone because my son told me to, after all it was for him. I can say that it must be good as the noise levels have gone down and he is (when in control of the english language) now a pleasing young 14 year old, well almost!
He is very into the phones available and what they can do (i am not, if it rings it's a phone is my limit) and for the money available i would reccommend the iphone 3g. It has given me peace and quiet and 350 people on facebook for my son talk to (or what ever)in his words.

A great product for a great price
I bought the iphone about one month ago, and was immediately impressed with the number of features available and all things we can habe from apple store. The size of the screen is brutal and has a extremely cool touch screen quality.
