I so much prefer the Magic touchpad 1's design of having removable batteries, where the batteries can be removed and charged, or if you want to use any type of battery, which extends the durability of the product, since the newer Apple Magic Touchpads had batteries built in, making it more of a disposable product and a contributor to e-waste. Super Buy, Would Recommend!

Bought this to use with an older Mac, which came with a mouse. I'm a native Linux user, so when I need to use any other platform I want to do so with a minimum of fuss. Beats the magic mouse

smooth and easy to use just like the original trackpad on my macbook pro.

I can't use the mouse anymore after finding that thees pads become much more natural and comfortable to use.

Good but...

For those of us with macbook’s the pad offers significant benefits over it’s alternatives. I love having the same control over the iMac. To say it is good value would be remiss but ‘we pays our money and we takes our choice’. I wish I could say that the track pad makes other input devices obsolete but sadly I find myself alternating between a mouse and this leaving the two connected. At the time of writing my office is cool and the trackpad surface cold to the touch. Pathetic as that may sound, it is enough to deter from its use on a winters day in the UK. Would I buy one again. It's an Apple Trackpad. It does everything you expect.

It's an Apple trackpad. What more can I say? Works out of the box and allows multi-finger gestures. There's zero hassle, just so long as you have a Mac with Bluetooth. And it's better than its successor, inasmuch as it doesn't have a non-replaceable battery, but can use two rechargeable AA batteries such as Eneloops. Thiis littlr device are great for all that prefear to use there fingers to control the mice.

Not like all other traditionel mices where you need to move your hand around and have the right underlay and use left or right bottoms to clik . I've never had a tracking pad before and has never used one but am now very please to have moved on to the tracking pad as it is easy to use.

Very convenient and helpful

I was recommended to "lift" my laptop to help some neck pain and so required separate keyboard and trackpad on the desk.
