Simple and cheap
Purchased these for some simple woodwork and masonry jobs around the garden. The first order had one cracked handle. I prompted for a replacement and one was given straight away, shamefully the next lot had again another cracked handle.
As another reviewer said "handles are better off being replaced."
They are cheap tools and do the job rather well. I recently recycled some old shed beams and this stripped a layer off easily and now the wood can be prepped for making a simple bird feeder.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

You get what you pay for
If like me you might only want them infrequently or for one job they'll be perfectly fine. At this price they are good value.
If you want to use them hard then they might not last. I'm not sure as I haven't used mine yet, but these are not tools a professional would probably buy.
These are cheap. And they feel it. The metal is spray coated in something which I think will quickly wear off. The handles are cheap hard plastic which don't feel rock solid.

Cheap rasps, let down by poor quality handles
The rasps themselves are ideal for rough shaping of wood or cork. They are let down by the quality of the handles, two out of the three in my order being cracked straight out of the packaging.

Files are good handles are terrible
I have just received my rasps in the post and on opening the packet I have noticed that the handles on two of them are badly cracked and loose. This is not a huge problem for me as I was planning to replace the handles anyway with round wooden ones.

Better than expected.
Wanted a rasp file set, and purchased this set. Wasn't expecting much, but was very pleasantly surprised on the performance, on reshaping a piece of wood. The rasp action is very good at removing material.
Plastic handle is possibly a drawback, because they appear very flimsy, and not really robust, so perhaps caution and safety might be needed when using.
Overall though, value and price, would represent an ideal purchase. They certainly did the job I wanted them to do, without going for the more very expensive professional trade type.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Just cheap tools.
Not really ‘proper files/rasps’ Will probably find a use, and the price is very low, but if you want real woodworking rasps or files spend the money on a proper branded product.

Cheap files for small jobs.
These files are ideal for small jobs but the handles are small and they are very light. If you don't want to spend a lot of money they do come cheap, as for quality you need to pay more.

Toy tools
Cheapest nastiest plastic handles i have ever come across and the metal is so soft that hard wood would render them useless in seconds. They make pound land tools look like Dewalt !
