Just what I wanted: simple to install and operate.
I had the thermostat remote from another brand. Too complicated. This basic device is all one needs: simple to operate (ON/OFF), simple to install. I would however recommend to have a 2 bang wall plate as optional where 1 bang is for the receiver with all the cutouts, and the other would be for a normal decora light switch. In my case, both circuits come to the same electrical box (fireplace ON/OFF) and a light switch for the lighting above the fireplace. So I had to fiddle quite a bit to make something work or put the receiver in the opening below the fireplace.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Fireplace remote start
Product arrived quick, easy to install and works great. And my older remote was compatible, so I have 2 remotes now.

Good Fix for Older Fireplace
Would have given 5 stars but the batteries in the kit were old and corroded. Other than that kit worked perfectly.

Not the same as the picture. Not sure if it’s newer model or older. Looks like it might work haven’t tried it yet.

Does the Job
Since all we need is the on/off function for our gas stove, this remote serves the task well for a reasonable price and the receiver connected up the same as the dead 20 year old one.
