For the price, still better than newer Kindle models

What I love with this model is the text-to-speech feature regardless how some might find it antiquated. This is the only reason why I keep on purchasing another when it breaks. This is my 3rd. I can hook it on my belt and distract myself while doing mundane chores. It is a bit unwieldy due to the size and of course it does not have the features the newer ones have. Also, since I normally must buy my Kindle from the States and this device is from the UK, it cannot sync automatically so I have to check my library on my paper white and punch the titles in manually.

Cheap Kindle in excellent condition

I wanted a series 3 Kindle with a keyboard for my grandson, as he has vision problems .
He can read 24 font , and I wanted a reader that he could not tamper with. He understands touch screens, but a real keyboard would confuse him.
Result
Spot on, he can read his books ! ! and he can't play games on it and he can't fiddle with it
What a nice bit of kit. Hardly any marks, and working to top spec.
Fits the bill exactly and I can send his homework to the kindle as a PDF

This is a refurbished Kindle & it is great. It is anti glare in the sun. Has been used for a long time now.
