I bought this because my 4 year old daughter wanted one and the price was very good value. The brand name of Currys PC World helped me to decide to buy because I've bought lots of things since they were just PC World and Currys. Trust is a big thing to me. My daughter loves Alexa and it is well built. It arrived very quickly too.

Great product ,does more than I imagined

This is a great product and does more than i ever thought ,it is easy to set up ,I can ask it to call any contact from my phone and speak to them without having the phone by my ear ,although unfortunately it doesn't answer it ,I can control my lights and sockets by voice control through it by having smart plugs and smart bulbs which are not expensive to buy and again are easy to set up ,now i'm thinking of other smart products to add to make my life easierVollständige Rezension lesen

Works well but it's a pity the instructions are not more comprehensive .

I have difficulty receiving a radio signal on ordinary radios and can only really get them if I use my PC ..However the signal via my broadband on the Echo is very good and I can listen to my chosen lists while doing any work ..My one criticism is that the instructions are not very comprehensive . It took a while to get connected via the Alexa app and in the end had to google Alexa setup to do it .. Also there are times when the lights flash and there is no means of knowing what they mean , so again I had to google the information.. There are 7 light sequences in all and nothing on the instruction booklet to say what they mean . At one point I thought my Echo was not working properly as it was flashing yellow. I had to google it to find out that meant Amazon was sending me a message re a delivery and then I had to try all sorts of words to activate the information .. Amazon could have just listed them in the little booklet included ..it would have made life so much simpler than browsing the internet to find the information .. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great Product

My only fault not with product but my wifi, I live in a rural location so have mobile broadband, wouldn’t connect to mine but connected with neighbours, visited my mum and took wifi and Alexa connected straight away and is now connecting at home, Sometimes have to reword what I ask but no great problem Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great shape, size and colour

This added to my growing number of Echo Dots around the house and the new shape, with lighting during use fits really well into a bedroom tranquility. Used for playing low volume music but also controlling lights, the ability to set to switch off in a given time means being able to drift off to sleep without having to be alert enough to shut things off first.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great multi purpose item

This is my second echo dot. They are so easy to use in coordination with your smartphone.

Great little quality unit

It has a good sound quality and works very well. It took a bit of working out how to get it going. I bought the battery pack which means I can move around the house or outside in the garden.

Amazon Echo Dot 4th generation

I have found this an excellent addition to the home. Music, reminders, information it is good company! The Tel call feature is also very handy.

A bit of Fun!

I bought this as it's a bit of fun really. Good sound quality but you have to have Amazon Prime or pay for most music tracks. You need an up to date Android op system on your phone for the app to work but I used a laptop and it worked - a bit of a faff!

Great little speaker

This is a great little speaker with room filling sound. I have 4 echo’s now and one google. I much prefer the Alexa assistant and this is aided by the fact that I have prime membership. AO service was impeccable, no complaints at all.Vollständige Rezension lesen
