excellent product to education
This is a wonderful product. My 8 year old grandson purchased a microscope at a yard sale and it had a couple of slides. This has provided hours of fun and education. He now is looking at stronger microscopes. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Safe and Highly Interesting Slides for First Time Microscope Users
We sent this slide set to go with the Amscope IQCrew Student Beginner Microscope With LED,100X/400X/1200X Magnification we bought for our 5 year old granddaughter. She was thrilled! The slides were ready-to-go so she could start right away to explore the microscopic world. Formal glass slides with thin glass covers require adult supervision for technical and safety reasons. These plastic slides don't break if dropped and the edges are protected so tiny fingers don't get cut. One very nice extra is that all of the slides are labeled. She was able to read off what she was about to see and was propelled to try bigger words (ant abdomen), a definite incentive for reading. Great set. Love to have had a few empty plastic slides in the set for exploring hair, dust, yeast, etc. Still, a great set.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Small but okay
The specimen on the slides are good;however, the slides themselves are small. They don’t fit right on the stage so you cannot use the stage adjustments to move the slide to move the specimen to where you want to view. They would be much better if they were the size of a normal glass slide. I do like that they are plastic though. So this feature makes them good for younger children. Good for the money
The good is that there is a lot of items to look at for the price.
The cons are they are only 2.5 inch fat plastic slides. They fit on my stage crooked, but that doesn't really present a problem. They won't fit into a regular slide case.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Niece loves these!
Got these for my niece's 9th birthday. She loved them! She took them to school for show and tell too! They go with the microscope we got her a previous year. We need more women scientists. ;-)

Microscope slides
