This graphite nut worked great on an old Silvertone project. Nearly exact fit so install was easy. A tiny bit of sanding and filing and there it is. I would recommend this item to anyone including amateurs such as my self.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Very good replacement for Tele
Really decent, good quality nut for Telecaster. I just used a very thin file to make grooves for the first 3 strings, the rest fit ideally. Now ordered a second one and going to get more.

Tame your Tele
Actually a good choice if your Tele has overbearing twang.
Still plenty of bite but with that nut you can squeeze out a ballad or two as well.. Worth a try for sure..

Six Degrees of Separation
There is no Mystery to guitar nuts. This technology is thousands of years old. Previous Homo Sapiens have got this figured out. Present Homo Sapiens have done a bit of adjusting, but not enough to screw up the original concept . . . keep the strings in place at a specified distance which makes fingering those strings practical.

Not Graphite as Described
Nut is not graphite as described. Appears to be plastic. Bottom edge is majorly mushroomed out. Worst of all, the pre-cut grooves are terrible. Low e, #1 string grove isn't there, #2 is far too shallow and # 4 and #5 grove is unacceptably crooked and would cause binding.

It is 'not' Graphite.
The piece is plastic. Does not sound, feel or file like graphite. Pre-cut grooves for strings are slightly angled which will cause spacing and pinching issues. Nut is too shallow to work with. Can cause flat notes and string buzz.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
