One of Bette Davis's best performances, along with Thelma Ritter, George Sanders, Gary Merrill & Celeste Holm. Bette at her best

Great film that goes by too fast. Won't review the story line in detail here; IMDB or any other movie review site can give the full analysis. This is a dated piece, of course, but the acting is very good and you do get engaged. I think this is more of a "chick flick," but my husband agreed it wasn't bad. I bought the movie because Marilyn Monroe is in it. She has a very small but funny and well done part. Wished there had been more of her. Ended up enjoying the movie very much. This is truly one of Bette Davis's best pictures and she had lots! This is probably rated in her top 5 for sure!! She was the prettiest in this movie I think... It's one of my favorites!!!
