Alesis SAMPLEPAD4 4 Pad Percussion and Sample Triggering Instrument

Love the Alesis SamplePad 4

I bought the Alesis SamplePad 4 to play drum sounds on my iPad when I need to do rolls, flams, etc, and it works great for that. Plus I can load samples of my own, or use the internal sounds it comes with. And it doesnot take much space, if you set it n a smaller desk like mine. unreliable with corss-talk problems

I have tried two generations of this item and them both are unreliable for performances. Hard hits caused the power to shut off on the first version, and hard hits to the bottom right pad of the new version cross talk to the selectors and change settings. I have the pad secured on a floor tom so that its almost motionless upon impact. Is the stand for this supposed to reduce cross-talk? Vollständige Rezension lesen

It works nothing more.

It’s very very basic. It has a buzz even though my p.a. And no way to totally get rid of it. Small pads are better and should have used the same thickness for the large pads.

The Right Piece of Equipment

Great little machine if you are looking for a smaller range of sounds to supplement a larger percussion system. I find it perfect for my needs in that way, and at an affordable price.
