For LGA771 modders
The motherboard I was looking for, to use my Xeon E5450 LGA771. AMI BIOS is easy to update the Intel microcodes; even the Celeron 430 (10661) that I have runs smoothly, with the newer microcode than the one inside BIOS v1004. I now have a board with an actual 4-core processor in it, and by re-applying thermal compound on the northbridge chipset will hopefully prolong its lifespan. Get a P43 or P45-chipset board if you are looking for 'old' socket 775->771 that can still rock. This is definitely a technician's motherboard.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Refurbished Mother Board with great features
The ASUS mother board performs very well with Windows 10 Professional as well as with the components such as USB internet antenna (Cisco Linksys), Galaxy GT 610 video card and Intel Core 2 dual at 2.93 GHz, OCZ Gold Series DDR 2 memory and key board, vertical mouse.
However, I had to replace the heat sink of the north bridge with another heat sink which consists of a fan attached to the aluminium block. This heat sink performs excellently with the ASUS mother board.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Good board for a spare computer.
Good board. Works well. windows 7x64 loaded all drivers on install. Only thing I found was the connection for power light was 4 pin instead of normal 2 or 3 pin. So you have to have some old connectors to juryrig to get power light to work.

Bought this mobo to revive an old rig so that it could be used by the kids, works great easy oc settings and so far durable. Exactly what I was looking for glad I found one.

Old MB went down
My old MB went down. This one was the exact same one. It works. It arrived before the date it was supposed to, and it works great. It’s old tech tho. Good for knowers
I AM very much satisfied, as this motherboard gives everything what what can be expected from it. As it is not new do not expect it to appear as new, and so not all the indicators are showing light - but it works! The bios shows the details as it should, and you can arrange all details the way that you expect it to be. When you program it the right way, when you connect it the right way, everything works smoothly !
If you are a technician, and or know what you are doing, go for it!

Used to repair a friend's system
Direct replacement for a dead board, works fine. Still had to reinstall windows though. :-(
