AROMA AT-101 Mini Clip-On Digital Tuner

I am not associated with the maker or dealer of this product..Get one ! It's tiny and quite good. M

This is my second one I've bought. First one got ruined when my Cordoba C10 fell flat on it's face the other night !! Nothing happened to it but tuner was not fixable..For the dirt cheap price of this tuner it sure does a good job..I do wish Aroma would make same but for guitar only..sometimes we unknowingly have it in wrong instrument setting and wonder why tuning up is acting goofy. Then you have to scroll to correct one..But it's infrequent and no biggie..I do find this particular make's readout to be less nebulous than other more costly makes. The construction is more robust than you might expect, too, and clip action is strong ...M, Los Angeles

Nice little budget tuner

I bought one of these on a whim because of the low price. I liked it so much that I bought 2 more. It is a cheap tuner - if you want something more durable, buy a Snark - but if you take care of it it should last. The readout is bright and modern. It is accurate. I should have gotten one of these years ago. I'm a classically trained musician and have always thought tuners were akin to "cheating" since of course we were all taught to do our tuning by ear. In my old age I have changed my tune :) This little tuner is easy to clip onto string instruments and I am using it to tune kalimbas. Very easy to read and use

Very easy to use, and the instrument selection makes it even easier to tune. The screen is perfect sized, very easy to read. The clip makes it convenient to place out of the way of the tuning pegs and strings. Just remember to flip the battery around, or it won't turn on. lol. Cheap, don't really pick up the tone.

Cheap design doesn't really work on any of the 3 guitars I've used them on. I bought 2 and tried them on acoustic and electric guitars. Fender, Schecter, and Mitchell guitars of good quality. They seem to pick up right when pluck the string and even then it's almost impossible to actually use them to tune with. I'd recommend spending a little more on a Snark.Vollständige Rezension lesen

A good tuner, bang-for-buck

It's not perfect but nothing really is. It takes a bit of patience to tune correctly and you may have to move it around the headstock a bit but it works well. It's not too sensitive but sensitive enough to get the tuning right. If you own a 5-string non-tenor bass, you'll have to tune the first string by ear to the second string...which is okay.
