First, I don't believe that you can beat the price. Due to heavy rains and the water co. putting extra chemicals in our water I had been holding off on water changes. If I hadn't bought the nitrate kit I wouldn't have known what bad shape my tank water is in. I'm testing every day and doing water changes to get the nirates back under control. I always buy API water testing kits, reliable and easy to use. I don't know how may times I have been able to detect sudden changes in my water when it looked just fine the day before.

I have been using API products for more than 3 years to measure Nitrite/Nitrate levels in my freshwater tanks. The test is pretty accurate. I never had any issues with this product.
