The serrations should all be 'set' out, each one being opposite to its next one. And each one should have a cutting edge.

Poor cutting blades
Good solid all round bowsaw, but the blades are rubbish took me about 20 minutes to cut through a 4inch piece of holly tree that I was pruning back.
