An early Scarlett marvel
It's a pleasure to watch young Scarlett Johanssson and to see Travolta in a role unlike any other he's played. The movie is necessarily slow at times, but that gives you time to reflection of the relationships and what else is happening. Even some of the deleted scenes are engaging. One Of My Favorites
New Orleans conjures up romantic images of warm nights and cool jazz. The title of this movie seems hardly appropriate as the movie begins... only as the plot unfolds does the "love song" bloom. The viewer will finally feel the love and the build up will then make sense.

Beautiful story
