Help Needed!

Yes, the product looks durable and priced right.
However, pictures I took using Xit Pro Series Wide Angle Lens for my PS G12 don't seem to have any difference when I use my G12 with out the Xit Wide Angle Lens.
Also, it is disappointing because pictures I took using this wide angle lens all have the circle shadows.
Maybe I did not use it properly and correctly since I am just a point and shoot camera user, not a professional.
Is there anyone who can help me address my concerns? Otherwise I think I have to return the product.

Easy to use, durable, high quality lense attachment. Not something I would have on my G11 all the time, but, definitely a fun thing to have.

Great adapter for Beginners

I teach Photography and ordered 20 of these lens for my students. Made of metal and comes in a leatherette pouch. Perfect for new photographers. Students can get really close for macro shots and noticeable wide angle photos. We use both adapters together for best Macro shots. You will see distortion in the corners of the wide angle shots with this lens but that's what the crop tool is for. Perfect for the amateur photographer and thank you for being affordable for education purposes. Only 1 lens in the lot was not the correct size as stated. It's ok

The CA at full wide are pretty bad. And you can't zoom very far before the cameras lens hits this lens. It does offer a little wider angle. So it does what it's supposed to do.

The Big Picture

Very good build quality for the price. I purchased this as a backup but I have gone to this lens as a primary wide angle. Definitely more bang for the buck here. Good and clear with no ghosts. I recommend this lens for beginners.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Stay away its garbage!

Terrible image quality save your money and stay far far away! Waste!

Useless...

It is acceptably sharp in about 20% of the very middle, but that's it. At all zoom ranges it is useless, blurry and a ton of chromatic aberration.
I was using this in a Canon S5 IS.
