Work well, although uncomfortable, but be careful not to dent the front!
These do the job of providing a good seal. The two back-of-head straps hold them on securely, and if you fit them according to instructions provided, they don't leak. They also are good at keeping glasses from getting steamed up. The one problem is that the front of the mask projects outward, to leave room inside for your nose and lips. However, there is only very little room for clearance here, and if the front gets dented inward the least little bit, then the mask will end up in your mouth every time you take a breath. This can also occur just because of the humidity created inside the mask when you breathe. This might be less of a problem for a person with a small face, but 3M should offer a slightly larger size for the average person. You have to be very careful not to let the front of the mask touch your fingers or anything that might dent the front. They are very uncomfortable to wear, but I guess that's to be expected.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Certified N95 masks should be more available and be more reasonably priced.
N95 masks, if available, is the way to go. Do not get the valve type for Covid-19 protection. The 3m 8210 seals very well. 3M does have a good reputation in the industry. In the future I hope they work on a high quality mask for all for COVID-19 like circumstances and bring down the cost. Vollständige Rezension lesen

good mask and high shipping
The product is a 3M N95 mask that blocks particulate matter and bacteria/virus. It isn't medical grade so you don't need to worry about taking masks away doctors in the ER, although it would be a good mask for nurses working with patients or any one front line with sick people.
The masks were over priced, of course, but not by much. The hit comes with the mailing costs. I paid $60.00 in shipping for two masks.

High quality
Great filtration , double elastic straps holds the mask on snug , the thin strip of metal forms to the bridge of the nose for an added seal. These masks are rated for dust and should be used when mowing , grinding , sanding and even cleaning the attic ! Protect your lungs ! The real deal, but these seem a bit smaller and straps are not very elastic
I checked the product at 3M's Safe Guard website, and it said the Secure Code and Lot Code were valid. However, I had other 8210s and they are bigger and the straps more elastic. These seem to not return to their original shape. The mas feels a smaller, however, I can still get a good fit for my face (average male size). Needed this type of mask for construction work. This 3 M mask uses woven straps that don't brake like the rubber style .

Impossible to wear: foul odor and straps too short
Sadly, these N95 masks are not useful. The elastic straps are EXTREMELY tight and it seems unlikely that any adult could get them around their head. They do stretch over time but not enough to ever be comfortable. The straps likely wouldn't work for a child either as the face mask would be too large for a child. Mostly good, except if you wear hearing aid and/of large glasses
I wear glasses as well as hearing aids and I haven't determined the best way of keeping them on with this mask. What I do like is its size and the fact that you speak and your listener understands what you are saying. So the four I gave it is because of factors unique to me. Works well, good value - changed bands though
In the older versions of this product the bands were a softer fabric. In the newer version they switched to rubber bands which are less comfortable. I am sure the manufacturer has been running at max capacity due to covid. Still works well and fits snugly, but I preferred the old bands.Vollständige Rezension lesen

3M 8210 N95 is the BEST mask and here's why. . .
Best Mask available is 3M N95 and of all the masks they make, I think the 8210 is the best as it has no leaky valves, which you don't want!!!!! The only thing of importance is that you can't get it wet!!!!! It's made of paper and can't take even one drop of water. And when times get BAD like last year, you can easily hot glue elastic bands on it to replace the original rubber bands, and you can do this many times. It's made to tightly fit over your mouth and nose, which makes it hard to breath through, which is what you want to protect yourself. To replace this mask you have to hot glue two KN95 masks together, and this 3M mask is still much better. Use your Kn95 masks for when it rains, use this mask inside of large grocery stores to stay healthy. Vollständige Rezension lesen
