3M Perfect-it III Fast Cut Plus Polishing Compound 50417
I purchased this having had a company called Shine come out to repair some minor scratches and carpark door damage on my car.
Upon seeing the technician use the 3M Perfect-it III on some of the minor paint scratches it removed them straight away.
Having messed about with so many other so called scratch removers before I could really see with my own eyes how good this product really is.

Boat Gelcoat Oxidation
The 3M 50417 product was excellent for removing heavy oxidation and giving a perfect shiny finish. I tried using the 3M green foam pad first but found that it left lots of wet pasty waste product and made the work area messy. I changed to the white colour 3M lambswool mop and found this was much better and entirely satisfactory - no wet messy waste, just the usual dust expected when compounding.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Best cutting Compound I have used.
Bought this product after a smart repair on a tailgate by Chips Away left me with swirl marks & sanding scratches.
I used Farecla G3 scratch remover paste with a Meguiars DA power system & by hand which left a shine but still the marks.
When 3M used with DA not a lot better, next I used a Farecla White Waffle pad by hand with a bit of pressure Bingo! you can feel it cutting,

Good product.
Works well for small hairline scratches especially if using a mechanical pad to work it in the clear cut. Gentle to use and easy to clean.

Cutting polish.
Brilliant stuff! I see this to cut a couple of panels that I resprayed, they did come out to well from the gun. But with a quick hand polish with this they are almost OEM, I'm sure they will even be better when I get time to da polish them.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Good product just a bit over priced other than that it’s a good polish with a nice cut , need to use a lot of polish to get a good result, over all good just bit pricey

Good for really minor scratches for deeper ones more useful would be black cap or even white cap which is more abrasive.
